  • If you choose to let your holiday property with us:

    • Mailchimp: We use Mailchimp, an email and marketing automation platform, to manage our mailing lists, send email newsletters, and distribute marketing communications. Your email address and, where applicable, your name, will be shared with Mailchimp for this purpose. Mailchimp acts as our Data Processor. We have a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) in place with Mailchimp to ensure they process your data in compliance with GDPR. You can review Mailchimp’s privacy policy here.
    • Manychat: For automated communications, particularly through social media messaging platforms like Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, we may use Manychat. Your social media handle and interactions within these chat flows may be processed by Manychat. Manychat acts as our Data Processor, and we ensure appropriate data processing agreements are in place.
    • SMS Distribution Companies: We use third-party service providers to facilitate the distribution of messages via SMS (Short Message Service) for marketing and transactional purposes. Your phone number will be shared with these providers for message delivery. These providers also act as Data Processors, and we ensure appropriate data processing agreements are in place.
    • Social Media and Messaging Platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, WhatsApp): When you interact with us on our official social media pages or via WhatsApp Business, the respective platform itself processes your data according to its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the social media and messaging platforms you use to understand their data practices. Trident Holiday Homes Cancellation Policy

We would like to reconfirm our cancellation policy regarding Covid-19:

No travel restrictions in place – if you wish to cancel a booking because you are concerned about Covid-19 or perhaps someone in your group is self-isolating or sick then this is treated as a normal cancellation, the following is applicable in this event:

8 - 4 weeks before date of arrival: in all cases the Booking Fee is non-refundable, 50% of the total booking value is withheld plus a €49 administration fee.

4 - 2 weeks before date of arrival: in all cases the €53 Booking Fee is nonrefundable, and 75% of the total booking value is withheld plus a €49 administration fee.

Less than 2 weeks before arrival date: in all cases the €53 Booking Fee is nonrefundable and 100% of the total booking value is withheld plus a €49 administration fee.

As a gesture of goodwill if we resell the date you wish to cancel then we will give you a partial refund less the Booking Fee paid. The partial refund will depend on the rate we achieve for the same period you wish to cancel.

Cancellation Policy in the Event of a County or National Travel Ban

In the event of travel restrictions due to Government directives – in the event of a county or national travel ban and as per our terms and conditions this will be treated as ‘Force Majeure’. Therefore, if Trident Holiday Homes is forced to curtail, alter or cancel a holiday, we will allow you to carry forward amounts paid for accommodation (excluding the €53 Booking Fee) to another holiday taken at the same location within 12 months of your initial booking. We will also waive 50% of the applicable Booking Fee on any new booking.

The client shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation of the holiday.
